Course of the intervention

Description
of the intervention

For primary rhinoplasties:

Dr. Alexandre G. LELLOUCH essentially performs preservation rhinoplasty by a"closed" surgical approach , without visible scarring. This is a new rhinoplasty technique described by Teoman DOGAN which allows to avoid irregularities of the dorsum. The hump is treated by collapsing the nose by osteotomy. The nasal structures are preserved, unlike "traditional" rhinoplasty which cut the hump and caused irregularities and respiratory problems.

Description
of the intervention

For secondary rhinoplasties:

Dr. Alexandre G. LELLOUCH uses the "open" surgical approach (scar at the level of the columella) to allow better exposure of the structures .

All structures of the nose are freed and must be repositioned, sutured and reconstructed one by one by the surgeon. A costal cartilage graft (sub mammary scar) may be necessary to reinforce the strengthen the nose if the septal cartilage was removed during the last operation.
